Buddha - Teachings

Tōshōji Monastery abbot and head teacher Dōchō Rōshi travels around the world to share practice based on the principles of traditional Sōtō Zen monastic life.

Dharma - Sharing

Tōshōji Global Monastery provides training materials virtually including instructional videos, the catalogue of Sōryū journals, and in the future our translations of key Zen texts with commentaries by Dōchō Rōshi.

Sangha - Community

Over 300 monastics from more than 40 countries have trained at Tōshōji Monastery. This global Sangha shares true dharma with thousands of students across the world. We work to continually strengthen and more deeply connect the Tōshōji Global community so that all beings may know Tōshōji practice.
